About this massage

Focused pressure, where you need it

This therapeutic massage focuses on specific problem areas, with deep pressure applied during the massage. It is especially beneficial for chronic muscle tension and pain.

Rather than rushing through the whole body, we slow down and work into the layers of muscle and connective tissue that are holding on. Your therapist adjusts the pressure to your comfort level throughout, so it stays productive and never overwhelming.

Myofascial release, trigger point therapy, acupressure and cross-fiber techniques may be applied.

Questions

Good to know

Something we haven’t covered? Call (808) 640-8833 and we’ll gladly help.

Will deep tissue massage hurt?

It can feel intense in tight areas, but it shouldn’t be painful. Tell us anytime and we’ll adjust. Relaxed muscles release more easily than ones bracing against too much pressure.

Will I be sore afterward?

Some tenderness for a day or so is normal after deeper work, a bit like after a good workout. Drinking water and gentle movement help.

How often should I come in?

It depends on what you’re working on. For chronic tension, regular sessions usually help more than an occasional one. We can suggest a rhythm after your first visit.

Can I add hot stones, CBD or cupping?

Yes. Each add-on is $20 and works with any massage. Choose it when you book, or call us and we’ll add it.

What if I need to cancel?

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice. A card is required to book, and it is only charged for late cancellations and no-shows.
